1. Crédit Agricole Group


Crédit Agricole Group, a French-owned bank and one of France's major corporations, is the tenth-largest bank globally. As the world's most prominent cooperative financial institution, it became an international full-service banking company in 1990.


As well as the thirty-nine Crédit Agricole bank, an extensive network of independent local banks was involved. The French-based company services a wide range of clients worldwide from its headquarters in Montrouge.


2. Bank of America (BAC)


Bank of America has assets of $2.35 trillion, making it the second-largest bank in the United States. Commercial banking, wealth management, and investment banking are the primary focus areas for this institution, which services about 10.73 percent of all American bank accounts.

3. BNP Parabis


BNP Paribas, a French worldwide banking group, follows. As measured by total assets, it is now the world's ninth-largest bank and is present in seventy-seven countries. JPMorgan Chase & Co. is the largest bank in the United States and the world's sixth-largest investment bank by assets. Over 100 nations offer a wide range of services, including asset management, wealth management, and securities, to their customers. In 2000, many significant banks merged to become JPMorgan Chase & Co., which has since become one of the world's most costly corporations.


6. Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group


The Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group ranks fifth on our ranking of the world's largest banks. In terms of assets, it is Japan's most prominent financial holding company, with $2.81 trillion in total. Over 444,000 people are employed by the Beijing-based company, wholly controlled by the Chinese government. From approximately 24,000 worldwide locations, it serves over 320 million retail consumers and 2.7 million corporate clients.


9. China Construction Bank Corporation


China Construction Bank Corporation is the second-largest bank in the world. To put it another way, CCB, as it is commonly referred to, is the third of the "Big Four" on our list; it has around 13,629 domestic branches and has abroad branches in Frankfurt; Barcelona; Luxembourg; New York; and Seoul.


CCB, based in Beijing's Xicheng area, employs more than 333,000 employees and provides business and personal banking services. Credit cards, personal loans, savings, and wealth management are just some of the personal services.


10. Industrial & Commercial Bank Of China


China's Industrial & Commercial Bank of China is the world's largest bank, and it is also the country's largest bank and one of China's "Big Four." When it comes to overall assets, clients, workers, and loans and deposits, ICBC, as it's commonly referred to, is unbeatable.


The state-owned bank was established in 1984 as a limited business and has since grown to be the world's largest public enterprise in terms of assets. Four hundred sixty thousand people work for the company worldwide, including Asia, Europe, North America, and Oceania.
